THE PRESIDENT'S AWARD
Each year the President's Award is given to some one who has shown great devotion to, and support of, Hellenic College and Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology. This year's recipient will be Mrs. Catherine Pappas, who, together with her beloved late husband, Stephen Pappas, are the Great Benefactors of The Pappas Patristic Institute at Holy Cross. Mrs. Pappas will be honored at a special dinner at the Cathedral Center, Brookline, MA, on Thursday, September 25, 2008, at 7:00 PM.

FEAST OF THE EXALTATION OF THE HOLY CROSS
The formal beginning of the academic year is marked annually by the celebration of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross on September 14th, the School's nameday. This year the feast falls on a Sunday. His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios will officiate at Great Vespers in the Chapel of the Holy Cross on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at 5 PM. At the conclusion of vespers at the Rassophoria Holy Cross seniors will receive the exorason.
