Cantonis Chair of Byzantine Studies Annual Lecture

St. John Chrysostom Lecture

The public is cordially invited to attend the annual St. John Chrysostom Lecture, "Preaching the Ancient Faith to Modern America", which will be given by the Very Rev. Fr. Peter E. Gilquist on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at 3:00 PM in the Reading Room of the Archbishop Iakovos Library and Learning Resource Center on the campus of Hellenic College and Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology.

THE PRESIDENT'S AWARD

Each year the President's Award is given to some one who has shown great devotion to, and support of, Hellenic College and Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology. This year's recipient will be Mrs. Catherine Pappas, who, together with her beloved late husband, Stephen Pappas, are the Great Benefactors of The Pappas Patristic Institute at Holy Cross. Mrs. Pappas will be honored at a special dinner at the Cathedral Center, Brookline, MA, on Thursday, September 25, 2008, at 7:00 PM.
